A Tag: My Life in Books

Hi, and thanks for stopping by.

Today's post is a really fun tag that I found - I'm not 100% who the creator is, so please let me know if you're aware, I just found the questions online and thought they sounded interesting!

1. find  a book for each of your initials

K: Ketchup Clouds by Annabel Pitcher
A: Alex, Approximately by Jenn Bennett
H: Heartless by Marissa Meyer

2. count your age along the bookshelf: which book is it?

Book number 21 is, ironically, one that I had GIGANTIC issues with. Wouldn't recommend reading, sorry!!

3. pick a book set in your city/country

The most nostalgically British books for me are Holly Bourne's Spinster Club novels. They are just so reminiscent of being a teenage girl in England, to me. I love them.

4. pick a book set in a destination you’d love to go to

I mean, in theory, I'd love to go to New York City (mainly because of those Friends &, especially, Gossip Girl vibes) but realistically, I hate travelling so much that I'd never make it over there, I don't think.

5. pick a book that is your favourite colour

This is about as close to a kind of duck-egg blue I could find! Picture doesn't quite do it justice - shoddy lighting, apologies!!

6. which book do you have the fondest memories of?

Harry Potter. Absolutely.

7. which book did you have the most difficulty reading?

For me, I often find books that are really high fantasy difficult to get my head around; I'm not so great with lots of complex world-building with 100 odd characters and locations. I'm also not great with certain darker books; for instance, B.A. Paris's Behind Closed Doors actually left me feeling quite sick and seriously unhappy.

8. which tbr book will be your biggest accomplishment when you finish it?

There's no book in particular that I've been putting off for very long; I did sort of vaguely read Pride and Prejudice once when I was younger, but someday I would like to be able to say I've thoroughly read that book (even though I really don't enjoy Jane Austen's writing at all - shock horror, I know).

As always, I'm not going to tag just individual people - anyone reading this who is interested in answering these questions, TAG, you're it!! Be sure to send me your post when you post it, too!

Till next time

Katie
