Hi, and thanks for stopping by.
So, as promised, my book shopping didn't stop at the start of the month and I already have a whole stack of other exciting new purchases to show you all. If you've read any of these I'd love to know your (spoiler-free!!) opinions about them - just leave me a comment down below! Anyway, on with the haul...
Emil Ostrovski’s
Away We Go
Westing is not your typical school. For starters, you have to have one very important quality in order to be admitted—you have to be dying. Every student at Westing has been diagnosed with PPV, or the Peter Pan Virus. No one is expected to live to graduation.
What do you do when you go to a school where no one has a future? Noah Falls, his girlfriend Alice, and his best friend Marty spend their time drinking, making out, and playing video games on awaywego.com. But when an older boy named Zach (who Noah may or may not be in love with) invites Noah and Marty to join his secret Polo Club, the lives of both boys change as they struggle to find meaning in their shortened existence.

Jilly Gagnon’s
#FAMOUS
In this modern-day love story, Girl likes Boy, Girl takes photo of Boy and posts it online, Boy becomes accidentally insta-famous. And what starts out as an innocent joke spirals into a whirlwind adventure that could change both their lives—and their hearts—forever. But are fame and love worth the price?
Julie Murphy’s
Ramona Blue
Standing over six feet tall with unmistakable blue hair, Ramona is sure of three things: she likes girls, she’s fiercely devoted to her family, and she knows she’s destined for something bigger than the trailer she calls home in Eulogy, Mississippi. The return of her childhood friend Freddie brings a welcome distraction. ith her growing affection for Freddie making her question her sexual identity, Ramona begins to wonder if perhaps she likes girls and guys or if this new attraction is just a fluke. Either way, Ramona will discover that, for her, life and love are more fluid than they seem.
Kasie West’s P.S.
I Like You
While spacing out in chemistry class, Lily scribbles some of her favorite song lyrics onto her desk. The next day, she finds that someone has continued the lyrics on the desk and added a message to her.
Soon, Lily and her anonymous pen pal are exchanging full-on letters—sharing secrets, recommending bands, and opening up to each other. Lily realizes she’s kind of falling for this letter writer. Only, who is he? As Lily attempts to unravel the mystery and juggle school, friends, crushes, and her crazy family, she discovers that matters of the heart can’t always be spelled out…

(How much cuter is this cover than all the Kasie West covers with actual human beings on?! I haaaate covers like those.)
Beth Reekles’ The
Kissing Booth
Meet Rochelle Evans: pretty, popular--and never been kissed. Meet Noah Flynn: badass, volatile--and a total player. And also Elle's best friend's older brother...
When Elle decides to run a kissing booth for the school's Spring Carnival, she locks lips with Noah and her life is turned upside down. Her head says to keep away, but her heart wants to draw closer--this romance seems far from fairy tale and headed for heartbreak.
But will Elle get her happily ever after?

(I've already read this and rated it 2 stars, which was a pretty generous rating in my opinion. I mean, the more I read the blurb, the more cliched it sounds, but if something gets turned into a MOVIE, you think it's gotta be half-decent, considering all the AMAZING books that haven't been turned into movies, right?!)
Morgan Matson’s
Save the Date
Charlie Grant’s older sister is getting married this weekend at their family home, and Charlie can’t wait—for the first time in years, all four of her older siblings will be under one roof. The only problem? The weekend is shaping up to be an absolute disaster. Over the course of three ridiculously chaotic days, Charlie will learn more than she ever expected about the family she thought she knew by heart. And she’ll realize that sometimes, trying to keep everything like it was in the past means missing out on the future.
Brendan Kiely’s
Tradition
The powerful, glamorous and privileged students of
Fullbrook Academy gather for a secret party in the woods. A party that ends in
disaster. The Fullbook traditions are sacred. But they can hide dark and dangerous
secrets. Jules is in her senior year with one goal: to get out and start her
life at college. Jamie is a sports star on a scholarship; Fullbrook is his
chance to escape his past. Can they both stand together against Fulbrook's most
toxic traditions?
So those are the rest of the books I bought this month!! What books have you picked up? Which are you most excited about reading? Let me know down below!
Till next time

I bought Save the Date this month too; I really want to give Morgan Matson even though I didn't enjoy Since You've Been Gone, as I love the concepts of all of her other books 😊
